Anita Patel (MPP ‘04) has been promoted to vice president of grantmaking at the Bush Foundation.

Misty Heggeness (MPP '02) was published in the October 2020 edition of Review of Economics of the Household under the title "Estimating the Immediate Impact of the COVID-19 Shock on Parental Attachment to the Labor Market and the Double Bind of Mothers."

Alumni Exchange is an event series featuring Humphrey School alumni expertise, sponsored by the Humphrey School Alumni Board. Events are planned around themes guided by the Humphrey School mission "to inspire, educate, and support innovative leaders to advance the common good in a diverse world.”

Gov. Tim Walz appointed Francis Green (MA/JD '00) district court judge in Minnesota’s 10th Judicial District, effective April 5, 2021.

We are currently seeking nominations for open positions on the Humphrey School Alumni Society Board. The Board seeks to enrich the diversity of the University and the Humphrey community, and encourages alumni from a wide range of backgrounds to apply. Eligible board members include graduates of the school’s degree, certificate, or other programs and those who have completed coursework at the School. Nominations remain open through Monday April 5, 2021.

Kayla Schuchman (MPP ’12), housing director for the City of St. Paul, was recently named a “40 under 40” honoree by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.
