Request Public Records
If you are a reporter or member of the public looking to request public records under the Minnesota Data Practices Act, you must submit your request via the University's Data Request Center. Requests should be as specific as possible and also specify the news organization with which you are affiliated.
For more information on the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, visit the Minnesota Office of the Revisor of Statutes. Visit the University Policy Library for the administrative policy on Public Access to University Information
The best way to stay in the know about what is happening at the Humphrey School is to sign up for our quarterly newsletter and our monthly Events Digest.
We also recommend checking back regularly as we post weekly news stories about the Humphrey School community on our website. If you have a story idea for us, there are two ways to connect: You can fill out this form or email us at [email protected].
Attend an Event
There are always events happening at the Humphrey School. In addition to receiving our monthly Events Digest, you can check our website frequently, as upcoming events are regularly posted online.
The communications team executes logistics and creates marketing and communications strategies for external facing events, such as the Distinguished Carlson Lecture, the Hubert H. Humphrey Public Leadership Awards, and our annual commencement ceremony. We collaborate with other units to promote and support School events, including creation of news releases, assistance with audience development, and other promotional services.
