Professor Samuel Myers Jr. has been named the inaugural BIPOC Business Champion by Meda, the Metropolitan Economic Development Association.

Professor Samuel Myers Jr. is the recipient of the inaugural Policy Field Distinguished Contribution Award from the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM).

Professor Samuel Myers Jr. has been named to the inaugural cohort of Distinguished Fellows at the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University.

Professor Samuel Myers Jr. has been appointed to serve on the U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB) Standing Committee on Contracting Equity. He began his three-year term in April. 

Professor Samuel Myers Jr. co-edited the June 2022 special issue of the Journal of Economic Literature, "Symposium on Race and Economic Literature."

Professor Samuel Myers Jr. has been appointed to a three-year term on the Committee on Law and Justice (CLAJ) of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine.

Humphrey School researchers are members of three interdisciplinary teams receiving grants from the Human Rights Initiative to pursue projects in the upcoming academic year.

Samuel Myers Jr. will spend the 2021-2022 academic year in residence at the Foundation in New York City, to complete his book on the “Minnesota Paradox.”
