Professor Samuel Myers Jr. has been appointed to serve on the U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB) Standing Committee on Contracting Equity. He began his three-year term in April.
The committee is concerned with issues related to the involvement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in the transportation industry. It is especially interested in strategies associated with achieving the objectives of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s DBE program.
