The CSTEP policy clinic supports community partners working to advance environmental and energy justice. The Clinic seeks to build flexible and responsive partnerships to integrate research capacity with community organizations and other non-profits by leveraging researcher and student expertise in policy analysis and targeted research support.

Who partners with the clinic?

The primary function of the clinic is to provide research support and policy analysis that advances goals of energy justice, climate justice, and environmental justice. We partner with organizations whose missions align with the Center and aim to collaboratively build capacity and expertise with policy analysis and research.

What products or types of support can the clinic provide?

Clinic faculty, staff, and students are trained to produce policy briefs, data analysis and visualization, and policy research. In addition, clinic researchers can assist with regulatory engagement, advocacy campaign planning, interviews and document review, videography, archival research, and grant writing.

CSTEP is seeking to grow capacity for the policy clinic to hire senior fellows, support additional community partnerships, and students in addressing emergent environmental and energy challenges.
