PhD student Noah Wexler has won the Ryuichi Kitamura Award, given by the Transportation Research Board, for best paper authored by a student in collaboration with a mentor/professor/advisor. Wexler collaborated with Professor Yingling Fan on the paper, “Public Attitudes and Preferences Toward a Hypothetical Future System of Shared Automated Vehicles.”

The review panel concluded that the paper made a significant contribution to the field of travel demand analysis. Wexler has been invited to present his paper at a seminar later this year at the University of California Davis.
