Associate Professor Caroline Krafft is co-author of a new working paper, “The Barriers to female employment: Experimental evidence from Egypt.”

Professor Morris Kleiner co-authored “The Effect of Occupational Licensing on Earnings Inequality in the United States,” a research brief published by the Cato Institute, a public policy research organization.

Associate Professor Bonnie Keeler, Social Policy Researcher Angie Fertig, and Master of Development Practice Director Dave Wilsey have received the University's Award for Excellence in Academic Unit Service.

In a recent report in the Journal of Global Health Reports, researchers from the Humphrey School's Master of Development Practice program and other University of Minnesota departments provide an example of how a community-based research collaboration used embedded networks to adapt their responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

The 2022 Economic Report of the President includes a section on occupational licensing and its impact on the labor market, referencing ongoing research by Professor Morris Kleiner and Assistant Professor Janna Johnson.
