Associate Professor Kathy Quick was honored with a Distinguished Teaching Award from the University of Minnesota. This award recognizes "Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education." Recipients are chosen for excellence in instruction; involvement of students in research, scholarship, and professional development; development of instructional programs; and advising and mentoring of students. In selecting Associate Professor Quick, the selecting committee noted her efforts to train professional students across multiple disciplines to address complex public problems, advance equity and inclusion, and forge shared leadership across differences.
