Professor Morris Kleiner was invited to serve on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Technical Expert Group on Health Practitioner Regulation. This group will set the agenda for the United Nations organization on establishing criteria for entry and practicing standards for the health care professions. The working group will meet for the first time this month. In addition, Professor Kleiner will participate in a March 9 symposium hosted by Cornell University’s Law School, titled “The Right to Earn an Honest Living: Occupational Licensing Versus the American Dream.”
