In this STEP Seminar, students and faculty from the Global Convergence Lab discuss their experience in Puerto Rico and plans for future collaboration.

In January 2019, 11 students from colleges across the University of Minnesota traveled to Puerto Rico as part of the Global Convergence Lab to learn about the territory's energy transition underway in the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Students on the trip collaborated with the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez and the National Institute of Island Energy and Sustainability and met with many non-profits, companies, and other practitioners across Puerto Rico seeking to advance a more resilient energy future. Join us for a STEP Seminar with students and faculty from the Global Convergence Lab to hear about their experience and plans for future collaboration.
