Explore partisan parity rules in U.S. election law with Rebecca Green, Associate Professor at William & Mary Law School.

The United States is widely seen as an outlier with overt partisan actors running elections. Critics commonly call for nonpartisan election administration as a key reform. But the U.S. system has long relied on rival partisan actors at all levels of election administration to keep elections honest and provide outcomes the public can trust. Rebecca Green, Associate Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Election Law Program at William & Mary Law School will explore partisan parity rules in U.S election law and discuss when and whether they work as designed. Colorado Election Director Judd Choate will moderate.
