Dipali Mukhopadhyay is Associate Professor of Global Policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She is currently serving as senior expert on Afghanistan for the U.S. Institute of Peace. She is the author of Good Rebel Governance: Revolutionary Politics and Western Intervention in Syria (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming) with Kimberly Howe, and Warlords, Strongman Governors and the State in Afghanistan (Cambridge University Press, 2014).
Mary T. Curtin, PhD, a Minnesota native, joined the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota as diplomat-in-residence in 2013 after a 25-year career as a Department of State Foreign Service Officer.
Nasema Zeerak is a Ph.D. student at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Her research focuses on the politics of international state-building and its impact on conflict affected countries.
