Corn – a seemingly simple staple commodity – has a versatility range unfamiliar to some consumers. From fields to foods, fuels, fibers and more, this grain is deeply woven into the fabric of human history, sustenance, and innovation. Corn farming is a complex system of intersections between sustainability, nutrition, and the national and global agricultural landscape. This conversation will delve into the world of corn – exploring its past, present and future potential alongside its journey and historical roots through time.
