Humphrey School Alumni Exchange: Election Workers’ Perceptions of Security in a Battleground State

Melissa Kono, MPP ’07 provides training on election law and processes to election workers across Wisconsin and has trained volunteer groups on voter registration. Her recent study “Election Workers’ Perceptions of Election Security in Rural Wisconsin” was published in the Journal of Election Administration Research & Practice.

She also holds elected office as a Town Clerk and in that role is responsible for administering elections at the local level.
