About
Biography
Becca holds a BS in Mathematics from Augsburg University and an MS in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota. Upon completion of her MS, Becca started a full-time position as a Biostatistician at the University of Minnesota’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute, where she collaborates with faculty investigators to plan and carry out public health studies, including clinical trials. She holds this position in tandem with her PhD studies.
At the Humphrey School, Becca is interested in studying the intersection of public health, the built environment, and social equity to affect policy change focused on equitable access to resources, such as healthcare services and culturally appropriate food.
In her free time, Becca enjoys sewing clothes, biking, and listening to true crime podcasts (SSDGM) while walking her dog.
