Haiyue is a PhD candidate in public policy with a focus on social equity, public finance, and public policy analysis. She joined the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in 2020. Her research centers around the examination of the relationship between public investment and social inequality. Her primary focus pertains to issues of racial equity, with a specific emphasis on discerning the impact of public investment on minority-owned small business enterprises. Her works also engage in labor market outcome disparities, exploring the initiation and implementation of racial equity assessments by public agencies.
