Val Horton has worked in the hospitality industry for seven years, beginning at Walt Disney World and then transitioning to working at the largest hotel in Minnesota. As the Humphrey School's events manager, Val manages the more than 50 annual events hosted by the School, including the Distinguished Carlson Lecture and the Hubert H. Humphrey Public Leadership Awards. Val earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
