Ms. Namakula works as an advisor to the Justice, Law and Order Sector under the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in Uganda. Her role is to initiate and oversee reforms in the criminal justice system and promote sector wide coordination and cooperation. Ms. Namakula holds a bachelor of law degree and continues to pursue a master's degree in sociology. Her Humphrey year will focus on criminal justice policy formulation and analysis and identification of administrative best practices, aimed at improving governance and rule of law in Uganda.
