Mr. Kapur is an officer of the Indian Police Service and serves as deputy inspector general in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).  In his policing career of 15 years, he has held several important positions in the state police as well as the CBI.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in industrial management.  During this Humphrey year, Mr. Kapur will focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of the investigation of cyber crimes.
