Rima Kawas is the CEO and Founder of The Connectors Group, a bespoke consulting firm specializing in democracy and governance, organizational transformation, and executive leadership development.

With a career spanning over 20 years in leadership roles across the nonprofit, government, and corporate sectors, Rima was a senior leader in the international democracy and governance field. She served in three distinct roles: Deputy Middle East & North Africa Regional Director, Director of Governance & Collaborative Learning, and Senior Advisor for Strategic Initiatives & Private Sector Engagement.Throughout her tenure, she oversaw multi-million dollar portfolios, led global teams, and advised and trained global leaders democratic best practices and engagement —from members of parliament to civil society leaders.

In addition to her international leadership experience, Rima's domestic expertise includes leading a robust public policy portfolio at a Fortune 50 company and serving as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Governor of Minnesota.

Rima has represented the United States on four international delegations and is a published contributor to Diplomatic Courier and Modern Diplomacy. She frequently speaks and facilitates workshops at global conferences and organizational events.
