    About

    Meagan Pierluissi is the strategic communications, events, and technology director at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Her role manages the internal and external communications functions of the executive leadership team and the School, oversees the School's major events, and now includes the management of the Conference Center rental space for events and meetings. Meagan also supervises technologists who manage the School's web development as well as data access and management.

    Before coming to the University, her more than 19-year career spanned across several communications environments, from nonprofit organizations to health care, as well as serving as a public affairs officer in the Army National Guard. Additionally, Meagan is the co-chair of the University's first Veteran and Military Affinity Group and serves on the communications committee for the Diversity Community of Practice, which is a systemwide affinity group supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion progress.

    She holds a master's degree in communication and leadership studies from Gonzaga University and an undergraduate degree in communications from Mississippi State University.
