Biography
Matt is a researcher with the Center for Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy, along with the Electric Cooperative Innovation Center. He helps different grassroots organizations organize, explore, and implement new energy transition policies, programs, and projects. He is interested in research related to how things change over time, in topics of polycentricity, social innovation, economic democracy, and processes and temporality.
Matt has past experience working as a journalist, a solar developer, energy policy researcher, and environmental advocate. His undergraduate and graduate degrees are from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in English and Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy, respectively.
