Emily Opara works for the Humphrey International Fellows Program and also supports the Global Policy Area at the Humphrey School. As Associate Coordinator, she provides media outreach, event coordination, and administrative support. Prior to joining the Humphrey School, Emily worked at Global Minnesota, where she worked on the International Visitors Leadership Program through the U.S. Department of State, and facilitated community engagement with international visitors. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Global Studies, and a minor in African-American Studies.
