Dinah Swain is a CFRE-certified fundraising leader with over 16 years of experience advancing mission- driven organizations through strategic philanthropy and donor engagement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University, a master’s in journalism from New York University, was a Humphrey Policy Fellow, and holds a certification in fund development. Dinah’s career is marked by a strong commitment to causes that drive systemic change, particularly in the areas of health, poverty, sustainability, and social justice.
Early in her career, Dinah spent five years with Morgan Stanley before transitioning to work as a TV news anchor and reporter, where she honed her ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, engaging way. She especially enjoys sharing stories that resonate with stakeholders and foster deeper connections.
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Dinah has lived around the world and spent ten years on the East Coast. She has lived in and loved St Paul for 30 years, and now calls Minnesota home.
