Mr. Torres is the General Manager of Cenpro Radio and Television in Bogota, Colombia. Mr. Torres was trained in civil engineering, and later moved into management positions in two construction firms. He has been involved in the Grupo Social, of which Cenpro is a member. Mr. Torres served as General Manager for Occidental Bank's credit card program and succeeded in establishing a new credit card in Colombia within three years. His primary interest is in financial management and administration.

Mr. Torres holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy and Literature (1967) and an Engineering degree (1971) from Javeriana University, and a degree in administration and finance from Andes University (1978).
