Carla is the administrative coordinator for the PhD program. She has been seeing Humphrey PhDs through from admission to graduation for nearly 9 years, and has worked in graduate program administration at the University of Minnesota since 2007. Prior to that, she worked in the graduate admissions office, and prior to that was a student in the Sociology PhD program. Carla is passionate about helping students get what they need out of their graduate school experience and assisting in navigating the often unique bureaucracy of academia.
