Transportation Researchers Win CTS Award

Faculty, staff, and student researchers affiliated with the Institute for Urban and Regional Infrastructure Finance (IURIF) have won the 2022 Robert C. Johns Research Partnership Award from the Center for Transportation Studies, for their Minnesota Distance-Based Fee Demonstration.

The awardees are Frank Douma (PI), Meredith Benesh, Camila Fonseca-Sarmiento, Adeel Lari, Lee Munnich, Jerry Zhao, Raihana Zeerak. The Humphrey team collaborated with a number of external organizations to pilot how distance-based fees could be implemented in shared mobility fleets such as HOURCAR and Zipcar.
