Research Fellow Matthew Grimley and Associate Professor Gabe Chan co-authored a new paper, “Processes of Power: Transitions and Justice of Energy Infrastructure in Minnesota,” published in Energy Research & Social Science. 

The paper examines power dynamics in Minnesota's energy system through three historic case studies: construction of the CU high-voltage powerline, the Prairie Island nuclear power plant, and the city of Hibbing's Public Utilities.
