Associate Professor Kathy Quick and Professor Emeritus John Bryson are contributors to the newly published 2nd edition of the Handbook on Theories of Governance. Quick and Bryson, both experts in the Humphrey School's leadership and management area, wrote a chapter titled "Public Participation."

The book brings together leading scholars in the field to summarize and assess the diversity of governance theories. It provides new insights on governance in the contemporary political landscape of global authoritarian populism, emergent progressive movements, and the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic.
