Rachel Conway is an Adjunct Professor at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Conway has spent her career in the federal government as a congressional and public affairs professional, primarily within the Department of Defense.
Most recently, Conway was the Director of Outreach for a legislative commission tasked with assessing the Defense Department’s resourcing process. Previously, Conway served as the Chief of Communications and Strategic Planning for the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics. She is a recipient of the Office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service.
Conway holds a Master’s in Public Policy with a focus on U.S. Government Institutions and Policy Management from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government in Arlington, Virginia. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics with Honors from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and is Program Management Level II certified by the Defense Acquisition University.
