    Lydia Tonoyan serves as the Engagement Program Manager within the Development Department at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, where she leads strategic initiatives to enhance philanthropic support across the School’s diverse stakeholder community. She brings a wealth of experience in advancement operations and donor engagement, having previously held the role of Project Manager for Prospect Management and Principal Giving Services at the University of Minnesota Foundation. Prior to that, she simultaneously served as Prospect Manager and Project Manager at a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to mission-driven work.

    Ms. Tonoyan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Baylor University in Texas, equipping her with a multidisciplinary perspective on organizational development and social impact.

    Beyond her professional pursuits, Lydia is deeply engaged in community service. She volunteers with the Minnesota Youth Ski League, Nasha Shkola Russian American Charter School, and St. Sahag Armenian Church. In her personal time, she enjoys cultivating meaningful connections with family and friends.
