The new report is released by the External Environmental Economics Advisory Committee.

The report reveals clear patterns by which women, men, and different racial and ethnic groups in Minnesota have been distinctly impacted by workplace closures and modifications as a result of COVID-19.

Building on analysis of the care economy in the Arab States, this report produces evidence–based policy recommendations for investing in the care economy in the region, and includes country case studies from Egypt, Jordan, the State of Palestine, and Tunisia.

The report advocates for adoption of “off-grid” energy sources such as solar-powered lanterns and microgrids as a way for people in remote areas to receive basic energy services from renewable resources.

The award is in recognition of Professor Emerita Melissa Stone's significant and sustained contributions to the field through research and leadership.

The report looks at efforts to restrict foreign aid by analyzing data on grants from US-based foundations to NGOs based in foreign countries between 2000 and 2012.

Professor Emeritus John Bryson received the John Gaus Award and Lecture for his "lifetime scholarly achievement in the joint traditions of political science and public administration."
