Early Admissions Programs
The Humphrey School offers a unique opportunity for students at the University of Minnesota to complete a rigorous combined undergraduate/master’s degree program in five years by enabling matriculation into a graduate program during senior year. Students apply during their junior year for enrollment beginning the fall of their senior year. Applicants must have completed at least 75 undergraduate credits and meet other criteria considered by the Admissions team.
With prior approval of graduate program advisers, up to 15 credits of relevant coursework at the 5xxx level or higher taken as an undergraduate may apply towards the graduate degree requirements.
The following master's degrees are available:
- Master of Public Policy (MPP)
- Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP)
- Master of Science in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (MS–STEP)
