Career Exploration Trips

Career & Professional Development and Alumni Relations partner to bring students to network with employers and learn about what it is like to work in different environments. Each spring, we travel to Washington D.C. Other trips include a summer trip to Chicago and a winter daytrip in the Twin Cities.

Mentor Program

Our domestic and global mentor programs connect Humphrey students with thousands of alumni who share similar professional interests to help students develop substantive knowledge in their chosen field and refine strategies for finding meaningful work.

Throughout the year, Career & Professional Development provides opportunities for students to connect with professionals and alumni in a variety of sectors. Each spring, we plan the PASA Career Fair, bringing employers who want to hire for jobs and internships together with students. Networking events are held throughout the year, and employers come to campus for information sessions and on-campus interviews. Register for upcoming events and learn more by visiting our events calendar.
