Myers Named to National Academies’ Committee on Law and Justice

Professor Samuel Myers Jr. has been appointed to a three-year term on the Committee on Law and Justice (CLAJ) of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education. The mission of the CLAJ is to improve government decision making and public policy, and promote the understanding and dissemination of research in matters involving law and justice.

In addition, Myers has been named one of the most influential Black economists of the last 30 years. The list, compiled by Academic Influence, features the most highly searched and cited Black economists.
