Heidi Roop

Heidi Roop is the director of the Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership, an assistant professor of climate science in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, and an Extension Climate Science and Adaptation Specialist. She is an expert in climate science and multi-sectoral approaches to climate adaptation.

Games are an effective way to engage people in understanding complex problems and collaborating toward solutions.

Public health authorities in the U.S. are analyzing data on the long-term effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines and debating the need for vaccine booster shots. This webinar will bring together top experts in public health with different points of view. They will consider recommendations from the CDC that some populations receive a Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine booster, the potential necessity for Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine boosters, and vaccination of children.
