About the Speaker:
Sibonokuhle Ncube is from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe in Southern Africa. Sibonokuhle is a womanist practical theologian, social justice advocate, development, humanitarian relief, and peace practitioner. She is known for her passionate speaking, intergenerational, and cross-cultural insights. She has more than 18 years of experience in integrated problem solving through multiple thematic humanitarian relief, development, and peacebuilding work in government, ecumenical circles, national and international civil society organizations, United Nations agencies, and has worked on transboundary, global themes. She is currently a Master of Divinity candidate in Theology and Peace Studies (MDiv). She holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Rural and Urban Planning, Master of Science, and Ph.D. in Community Development Studies. She was recently a Ministry in Church and World Intern with the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions (CSCS). She enjoys accompanying communities toward strength and vision renewal to realize their potential.
