Show Up for the Common Good - Minneapolis
At this time of political and social change in our world, our nation, and our state, many people are asking what’s next, and how do we continue to advance the common good? In doing so, Humphrey School of Public Affairs alumni are having critical conversations in their professional and personal lives, looking for the best ways to stay engaged in public life.
Join your fellow Humphrey alumni in Minneapolis to hear from Humphrey alumnus, Abou Amara (MPP '12), share his story.
Afterwards, participate in small-group discussions, led by Sook Jin Ong (MPP '14), to learn how others are bringing their expertise to the table, providing venues for inclusive and collaborative civic engagement, and working to uphold democratic institutions. Colleen Waterston (MDP '13) will provide closing remarks to the event.
Registration is $10 per person and is limited to the first 75 attendees for the Twin Cities event. A limited number of tickets are available for current Humphrey students, faculty, staff, or friends of the School to attend.
We will provide heavy appetizers and a cash bar for attendees.
Sponsored by the Humphrey School Alumni Society Board.
