Join Martha Faust for her talk Why Brownfields Matter to discuss these unique challenges and opportunities, to learn how environmental justice is being centered in state government at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and insights from a career in community development.

About Martha

Martha Faust is a Supervisor of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Brownfields Community Outreach and Engagement unit. Her role is to assist community-based organizations and others involved in brownfields reuse and redevelopment. Martha joined the MPCA in 2023, bringing over 20 years of community development and brownfields experience.

 

Prior to MPCA, she worked as a Redevelopment Manager with Ramsey County Department of Community & Economic Development. She also worked for the nonprofit Minnesota Brownfields and the City of Saint Paul Department of Planning & Economic Development. Martha has a master’s degree (Urban and Regional Planning) from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School and bachelor’s degrees (International Studies and French) from the University of St. Thomas.
