Human rights activists are often on the frontlines during times of conflict. Their commitment to promoting human rights is paramount to protecting human lives.

Join Dr. Siyabulela Mandela, Dean Nisha Botchwey, Angela Rose, and Mark Ritchie for a panel discussion in the Cowles Auditorium at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. This discussion will cover topics at the intersections of human rights and social justice, activism, journalism, and education. What roles can activists, citizens, and students play in upholding the values of human rights around the world? How can we act as informed and responsible global citizens, especially in times of conflict and crisis?
