Join the Center for Integrative Leadership during Domestic Violence Awareness Month for a Bagels Beyond Boundaries conversation on Cross-Sector Approaches to Decreasing Domestic Violence in Minnesota with Sasha Cotton, Director of the Office of Violence Prevention, City of Minneapolis, and Justin Navratil, Health Program Planner / Policy Analyst, Anoka County Public Health and Environmental Services, Anoka County Violence Prevention Roundtable.

At this event, Sasha Cotton and Justin Navratil will discuss the current cross-sector, community-based approaches to the prevention of domestic violence in the City of Minneapolis and Anoka County, and imagine paths forward where cross-sector partnerships can work to create and maintain safer and more equitable communities in Minnesota. The session will be moderated by Amy Dorman, PhD student in the School of Social Work & PhD Research Assistant at the Center for Integrative Leadership.

*Bagels Beyond Boundaries provides an informal space for students, staff, faculty, and community members to engage in discussion. Speakers from different sectors will illuminate examples from their own experience or research on ways to bring people together across boundaries to create positive change in ideas and opportunities.
