    Partha Sarathi Reddy Chevuru joined the Planning Commission in 2011, and is currently designated as Director, Infrastructure for the Government of India. He is responsible for initiating the policies for development of Ports, Airports and Irrigation sectors through Public Private Partnership (PPP). He was involved in preparation of a financing plan for development of nearly 25 airports in India through PPP. He is presently working on development of a model framework for taking up micro irrigation through PPP, which is expected to increase the food production in the country. Prior to joining Planning Commission, he had worked for 14 years with Indian Railways and for 3 years with Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). He graduated in 1994 with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India. During his fellowship year, Mr. Reddy Chevuru will pursue a Master of Public Affairs degree.
