She is a lawyer by training. As a key administrator, she has been part of the policy development group in the long-term planning of the Universidad. She is currently working with the faculty members at the University of Minnesota to develop a proposal between the two universities to restructure the Universidad De La republic and to provide exchange. As a Humphrey Fellow, she will focus on planning and management of higher education.
