Megan Voorhees

Megan Voorhees leads strategic development initiatives and oversees programming at Acara in the Institute on the Environment. She is an educator, consultant, trainer and life coach. Working at the crossroads of experiential education, community engagement and social impact for more than 25 years, she has directed a variety of leadership development and education programs in the youth development and higher education sectors. Previous work experience has included serving as the director of the Public Service Center at the University of California, Berkeley; program manager and trainer for the San Francisco Conservation Corps; and leading a study abroad program in Zimbabwe for Lewis and Clark College.
