Mr. Lall is deputy commissioner of police in Delhi. He is responsible for budgeting, and assists the commissioner of police on general administration, policy formulation, and issuing guidelines. He is also responsible for curriculum development, security of visiting officials, training, and efforts to decrease violence against women. Mr. Lall holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in zoology. He plans to focus on sustainable law enforcement, with a particular focus on the protection of human rights, during his Humphrey year.
