Dave Dorman retired in June 2015 as a human resources consultant in the Office of Human Resources at the University of Minnesota. Most recently he worked with employee engagement in the Leadership and Talent Development division. Previously a primary role included coordinating the President’s Excellence in Leadership (PEL) program, a leadership development program for high potential staff. In addition, he assisted with the development of leadership competency models. Currently he is serving as a participatory process consultant at the U of M and organizations external to the University. Dave holds a Master of Arts in College Student Development Administration from Michigan State. Prior to coming to Leadership and Talent Development in 2007, Dave had advised peer education programs at Boynton Health Service for 18 years.
