Colleen O’Dell is a park planner and licensed landscape architect with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board where she works on long-range system planning, park designs, master and site plans, construction projects, public art, and community engagement. Prior to joining the Park Board, she worked with the City of Saint Paul Planning Department, the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs, the National Park Service, Metro Blooms, and the U.S. Peace Corps. She received masters' degrees in urban/regional planning and landscape architecture from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and the University of Minnesota's College of Design.
O’Dell received a National Merit Award and the H.W.S. Cleveland Award from the American Society of Landscape Architects MN Chapter, as well as the American Planning Association MN Chapter's Bridging the Gap: Advancing Equity in Planning Team Award.
