Ms. Torres-Bartyzel is the director of the Department of Civil Service Training and Development. She is in charge of training and development programs for the Polish civil service and for maintaining relationships with comparable international organizations. She holds a master's degree in sociology and a postgraduate degree in public administration. Ms. Torres-Bartyzel plans to concentrate on leadership, philosophy of government, and public management during her Humphrey year.
