Brian McClung

Brian McClung is a co-founder and partner at MZA+Co, a full-service public relations and government affairs firm based in St. Paul. Brian's experience includes work as a TV news reporter, campaign manager, spokesperson, presidential campaign consultant, and public relations executive. Prior to co-founding MZA+Co, he served as press secretary, director of communications, and deputy chief of staff to Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. He got his start as an intern on undercover projects for WCCO-TV's highly regarded "I-Team" and went on to serve as a reporter at WCCO-TV's station in Alexandria, MN before leaving journalism to work in communications at the State Capitol.

As a spokesman and commentator, Brian has been quoted in the Washington Post, USA Today, New York Times, Chicago Tribune and Miami Herald. Brian is a graduate of Washington & Lee University with a BA in Journalism & Mass Communications. He can be reached at
