Beyo Yves is an architect for Nickel Entreprise Sarl, where he is the head of the Department of Studies, Planning and Monitoring of Projects. Mr. Yves is also committed to improving his community, and works with non-profit organizations to provide housing for those in need.  One of his recent projects was working with a group of volunteer architects to design a rehabilitation center for homeless children. Mr. Yves received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria. He was awarded best presentation on ‘Glass and Ceramics Materials” during the UNESCO Conference in Technology and Education at AGH University of Science and Technology in 2015. Mr. Yves also received an Engineering Certificate in the field of Material Science in AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland in 2016. He would like to use his Humphrey year to learn more about urban planning and development in the United States, including innovations he can introduce to his field in Chad. He plans to learn skills and strategies to help address ubiquitous livability and inclusivity challenges in Chadian cities.
